I need to figure out how to render it . I am kinds of confused about the processing of "Cache" in Houdini.
I am studying Houdini. I tried to create a candle flame effect. this is a test. I am going to create better one.
I added more textures that I did in the Substance Painter software on the Assets for the project .( the cup, the candle Holder, the bottle were textured in the software) I will start working on creating the flame effects for the candle in Houdini. I finally found out about how to implement the textures I created in the substance Painter software into the Maya program after several errors.
I will keep on studying the Substance Painter program more in-depth. Now I am studying how to create flame effects in Houdini and how to render it. I will implement the effects to my Maya interface and will test them. My final goal is that I need to figure out how to implement the effects into the scene I created in Unity. These are the screenshots of the scene for my other project. I am practicing how to create textures in the Substance Painter program beside this independent study. The tricky part of using the software is that I need to figure out which layer I am working on. fIll layers, paint layers, white masks, black masks.. there are so many different layers I have to be on the right layer where I want to apply for different effects.
