" Indigoetc site started by updating my independent research. The initial intention was to create a mixed reality experience design when I began independent research while attending the entertainment technology center, Carnegie Mellon University.
This site will continue to be used as a place to update my independent research............................ April 2021 "

Ties_Virtual Gallery Project
Gallery_I : Ties ( Artist : Wendy Calman )_ Since June 2021, I have built virtual exhibition spaces for Wendy Calman's works. I have been working to model, texture, create animations, and add interactions for the Ties installation piece to transmit into a virtual gallery. I work with Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter for 3d modeling.

>>> Primary  Goals for the Independent Study _ Jan. 2020
This independent study's primary and ultimate goals are to create an Experience Design using the Unity Platform by intensively studying the augmented reality implementation.
I have been continuously interested in learning Unity and researching augmented reality. Still, I do not have a chance to learn the necessary technology and knowledge, how to utilize and apply them in depth. I realized I must organize the essential research steps to reach the goals. It is necessary to understand the Structure of the Unity Engine first and develop my knowledge and skills for and practice my skill-sets for working with augmented reality.
Specifically, I plan to learn an essential and fundamental way of implementing augmented reality based  on the tutorials presented by the Magic Leap Studio.
I will also be working on implementing Visual effects created in the Houdini Software for developing & Polishing an experience design I am creating. I hope pursuing this Independent Study will guide me to a better way to acquire the necessary skills for working in Unity. I will use my skills gained from this research to create a design of experience using augmented reality.
>>> New Plan_ March. 20. 2020
My school has been closed, and all classes have been turned online. As a result, I need to revise the direction of my independent study.
Even though, Ultimately, the main goal is to create a virtual world using a magic leap device. In this situation, which is limited in time and working environment, I changed some directions for accomplishing my independent study.
I will focus on creating a virtual world in the Unity platform. I should have spent more time modeling the assets needed in the virtual world I am working. Instead, I will work with Autodesk Maya and the ZBrush software for modeling assets.
I will study Autodesk Maya and Adobe Substance Designer & Painter to get more detailed and aesthetic texturing that fits my needs.
Also, I will add visual effects using Houdini Software.
My subsequent blog posts will be posted in these revised directions.
I will continue researching a Magic leap device while working on intensively creating a world in Unity.
